Initiated by Corinne Mathou and the Cie Théâtre-Danse La Mandragore, Le Lab Artistique is deployed throughout the region in partnership with the Conservatoire Henri Duparc, Dans6t and the Cie Emmanuel Grivet de Tournefeuille. The aim is to provide a center of excellence for creation and to create synergy for artists in the department and the region. It is aimed at dancers, actors, musicians, singers, professional visual artists, or those in the process of becoming professional.

A true laboratory, it offers regular work of professional artistic research without any conditions of return, at the rate of 3 sessions per quarter spread over 2 locations: Dans6t and the Studio Emmanuel Grivet. Being able to devote oneself only to searching, to exploring... to being clumsy, to making mistakes, to getting lost but also to taking the time to exchange, to meet and to simply play; time that unfortunately is too little in the life of an interpreter subject to the injunctions of production.

 

 

 

The Artistic Lab wants to develop and strengthen:

 

- a practice that meets the technical and artistic requirements of the profession

of interpreter.

- links between artists for the development of artistic creation

in Occitania.

- gathering spaces for the territory’s artistic community.

- the movement of artists to places committed to creation.
